Due to UNLV Rebel Racing being the only team in the Baja SAE Collegiate Series to design and fabricate our own custom shocks, this system requires special attention to detail. Our Shocks Lead is responsible for maintaining and tuning our shocks to allow for our vehicle to handle rough bumps and jumps with ease. With CNC and manual machining practices, each corner is ensured to have a shock body with up-to-date components that is adaptable to future design modifications.

Mason Grebner
B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Our Drivetrain Lead is responsible for leading the design and manufacturing for our vehicle's power transfer systems. Managing elements such as two-wheel and four-wheel drive systems, CAD and analysis of parts, such as transfer cases, custom gear reductions, etc., and testing of these components to meet the challenges of rigorous off-road terrain are a few tasks required of this subsystem.

Jason Quintanilla
